Free Debt Grants With Federal Government Assistance

The available federal funding in the form of debt grants is a little known secret to most Americans. This money is available not just for low-income families, but for single mothers, people who were duped into buying too big a home, those who lost their jobs, and even those who have jobs but their expenses exceed their income.

Debt relief grants help people get the financial aid they need without filing for personal bankruptcy or destroying their credit. The typical American who is deep in debt will do one of several things:

Allow the debt to go in to default, which means fighting with collections
Visiting a debt counselor, who will advise on how to consolidate and re-negotiate debts
File for personal bankruptcy

The problem with these three scenarios is that none of them are good options. Dealing with debt collectors is one of the worst experiences people can face. These people are ruthless, they threaten you, and harass you at work. In addition, allowing your debts to simply go into default status will destroy your credit, which could take a minimum of 7 years to repair.

Debt counselors, while they can do great things, will also ruin your credit. While re-negotiating and consolidating your debt won’t impact your credit score directly, it will have an impact on your lenders willing to do business with you in the future. When you use professional help to get out of paying their bills, those creditors lose money, and they are not happy about it. As a result, they will put a note on your credit report that you used professional help to avoid paying your bills, and you will have a tough time finding anyone to lend you money in the future.

For those without any options, filing for personal bankruptcy is a last resort – worst case scenario. It can take up to 10 years to repair the damages that personal bankruptcy will cause, but it can wipe the slate clean.

Interestingly, none of these options are good for the lenders and creditors, and they have profound negative effects on the economy. That is why the government and other private institutions are willing to help by providing free grant money to help you get out of debt.

If you qualify, this is money that is provided to you to help you get back on your feet and avoid all of these horrible consequences from the options above. There are agencies willing to help, but you need to ask for the money. As a result, you could receive federal financial assistance to help you become debt-free just by asking for free grant money.

  3. Official cause of David Kelly’s death is ‘extremely unlikely’, say group of legal and medical experts A group of prominent legal and medical experts called today for a full inquest into the death of the government scientist David Kelly in 2003. An inquest was suspended by Lord Falconer, then lord chancellor, before the Hutton inquiry into the circumstances of the scientist’s death. It was not resumed after Hutton’s report in 2004 concluded that Kelly killed himself by cutting an artery in his wrist. Nine experts including Michael Powers, a QC and former coroner, and Julian Blon, a professor of intensive care medicine, said in a letter to the Times that the official cause of death – haemorrhage from the severed artery – was "extremely unlikely". "Insufficient blood would have been lost to threaten life," they said. "Absent a quantitative assessment of the blood lost and of the blood remaining in the great vessels, the conclusion that death occurred as a consequence of haemorrhage is…

  5. Democracy is a ridiculously overused term thanks to, frankly, US and Western propaganda. I’m not saying our system is bad or that the US trying to spread representative government based on free elections is bad, but we push a very simplistic “democratic societies versus closed/totalitarian societies” narrative in favor of actually understanding the many diverse systems and institutions used in different ‘democratic’ societies. The US is a constitutional representative republic, not a direct democracy. Switzerland is one of the only countries in the world that can really claim to be a “capital D Democracy,” because citizens can start referendum votes to immediately change any policy they disagree with. Democracy means voters directly make decisions about policy. Most ‘democratic’ countries are Republics, where voters elect representatives who then create policy. Even among representative Republics, there are many differences in voting systems. The US system of winner-take-all single member districts has fallen out of favor in almost every other Republic because it tends to produce two gargantuan parties with only minor differences in policy position. Proportional representation systems allow for a much more robust policymaking institution. Instead of being played by one side against the other to disrupt that carefully gerrymandered 50/50 balance in swing states, the dumbest 20% would be split up between a number of smaller parties, and if some of those parties were way outside the mainstream, coalitions would form without them and they’d have little direct influence over policy. They would still get a seat at the table and a voice in the discussion, but the system would be much better at ignoring some voices when they’re batshit insane.

I can tell you that I, as a believer, used to look at the world through a filter of belief. That everything I encountered was matched up against a particular way of seeing the world. If it didn't work with what I believed, I discarded it as unnecessary, wrong, or evil.

It was hard to give up that mental checklist. It keeps your thoughts from exploring other possibilities. And it really keeps you from truly understanding someone else's perspective.

So to say I am more of a 'free thinker' than theists is true in a way. If only for myself. When I was a theist, I was closed minded, and wasn't even aware of it. When I see it in others, I recognize it, for it was once me.
